I note that the price rise for Fit Put was mainly because they now have to charge vat (since February).

If he's anything like my OH, Mr Wine Legs (and other OH/husbands) will think that recycling is a myth. The world is doomed anyway and I'll do what I bloody well want to.

It's taken a long time to get him to recycle anything and after 11 years of togetherness, I am still fishing things out of 'the wrong bin'.

He did use the bar soap for a short while but has gone back to his shower gel.
Owns multiple re-usable cups/bottles/flasks but still buys drinks from the shop.
Refuses to take a packed lunch to work, despite me offering to make it for him.
Prefers stuff out of packets to homemade etc etc.

I make hubby lunches, housed in leftover plastic bread bags not clingfilm.

beebop, I will blog the recipes at some point...when i get a mo!

None of mine have particularly weird ingredients in, like protein powder, either. (although i am sure you could add it if you want).

Trin gave a recipe for "Paul's Balls" in a blog, which are lime and ginger, and very nice indeed.

They may have 'weird' things in them but they taste good...if hubby likes them, anyone will as he's a fussy eater.

Thanks Garfield, and thanks Wine Legs - much appreciated and looking forwards to a blog when you have a chance. You sound extremely busy, so not expecting anything soon :-)

After getting fed up with our crappy work issued water bottles I recently ordered 20 undisposabl Caretta stainless water bottles who donate 25% of their profits to cleaning up the oceans are 100% plastic free. Even got money back (well works credit card did) for ordering so many. So far everyone at work is very happy with them.
