For (most) of my team being decent, hardworking and committed.
For my one troublesome member of staff being on leave this week, another week in early August and then off for 2 weeks in Sept.
For a humorous and inspiring senior officer who is a woman.
For Sky Q & West Wing.

An evening drinking prosecco and chatting with another grown up.
An early evening stroll on the beach, whilst both my boys swam in the sea.
That QP has rediscovered swimming after a distressing incident a few years ago.
The return of Top of the Lake.
Another day off tomorrow.

For a productive weekend last weekend. For the chance to spend a lot of time on something I am really passionate about. For sitting in the sun chewing the fat with a new colleague. For a flying visit from a lovely friend, and her kind words. A barefoot walk on the beach in the sun. For the feeling of satisfaction at getting things done and arriving at the weekend without a huge to do list.
