Thomasina Miers’ recipe is ridiculous. Very heavy and sweet. If you ate that for breakfast, your body would be fully focused on digestion when it needs to be waking up. Hardly any aromatics or bitters to counteract the fat and help to digest it - just a small pinch of cinnamon. Ridiculous.
