I though that guardian article was disgusting special pleading to make our that anyone who dared to mention that the Israeli military is murdering thousands of children is buying in to some ancient stupid libellous conspiracy theory. I don’t think they are murdering children to drink their blood, I just think they are murdering children as part of their policy of genocide. And I won’t be told that it’s antisemitic to mention these deaths. |

Are Israel targetting children? I don't believe so. Are they targetting areas with little concern as to whether there are children or other civilian deaths likely? I do believe that. That attitude may be rife on both sides, but as a UN state, Israel shouldn't hide behind that immature attitude of "they started it". |

The Israelis have been targeting children for years, I’ve seen umpteen videos in the past of their snipers killing woman & children. Remember the American lassie they drove over and buried alive with a bulldozer? |

Maybe this is not right, but I distinguish between individual soldiers and the state. And perhaps that's too generous to Israel, I don't know.

Be interesting if a change in regime, would result in a very different change in domestic/international approach. |

I make no strong claims about whether it's policy at any official level and/or whether children are specifically being singled out. It seems consistent with indiscriminate murder by individual soldiers that is quite happily tolerated by their superiors. Basically they seem to be shooting whoever they want, whenever they want. But whatever the policy arrangements are, it's definitely happening, and saying so has nothing to do with some medieval myth about drinking blood. |

Some interesting statistics on the Independent front page today actually including 31 out of 36 hospitals in occupied Palestine destroyed 304 aid workers killed 66% of all buildings in Palestine destroyed 11,000 children killed We can all draw our own, and possibly different, conclusions, from those types of figures. |
