Was he sacked or just lost his deputy chairman role? It's amusing to watch, of course, all the talk about Reform forming the next government and yet 5 of them can't get their act together. That is, presumably, because they're 5 very shitty people, with the shittiest of them at the top. It's never going to work.

The world-renowned surgeon Prof Lord Darzi has been appointed by ministers to lead an independent investigation into the performance of the NHS. Yet more signs that Labour are a serious party doing serious work. They’ve done more to improve the country in a week than the Tories have done in years. |

"We've had enough of experts." The conclusion therefore being that it's time for the ignorant and the inexpert to have a go. There's your answer. |

Johnny Blaze wrote: The conclusion therefore being that it's time for the ignorant and the inexpert to have a go. And that's exactly what's happened. The period following Brexit here, and Trump's election in the States, was a golden age for the stupid, allowing them to attain a power and influence which their stupidity had hitherto denied them. |

'Labour accused of scare tactics over jails' screams the mail this morning. They can't quite bring themselves to say 'the government' can they. Maybe a better headline would be 'mess in jails even worse than last gov lead us to believe ' |

But that would mean that they had to tell the truth about the Tories and their readership would not stand for that.

Food bank calls for end to subsidised ‘fine dining at meal deal prices’ for MPs Campaign aims to draw attention to millions spent on Commons catering despite millions using food banks Have to say that this also doesn’t do politicians any favours. Whilst half of them have been voting for austerity for the poor they’ve been living high on the hog at our expense. Not a good look. And isn’t the HofP wine cellar worth about seven billion pounds. |
