One v minor bright spot is that i think a Sunak govt will not include a JRM or a Dorries.
Nor perhaps a Patel.
It might include Badenoch or Braverman though.

Mordaunt pulls out minutes before her count was revealed. Her camp were saying she had 90 today, I strongly suspect that was more lies, designed to make MPs yet to nominate think they had the power to get her over the line

One v minor bright spot is that i think a Sunak govt will not include a JRM or a Dorries. Nor perhaps a Patel. Rees-Mogg said some months back that he would not serve in a Sunak cabinet. Given that he'd called Sunak's policies 'ridiculous' and said that he was a failure as chancellor, he would've need some pretty spectacular reverse ferreting in any case.

Yeah, I was thinking Thatcher. 3 league titles in a row, though I'm struggling to equate recent victories to a Europa League triumph or two. Possibly going further back, Churchill playing the part of Matt Busby. Think I'm stretching this!!!
