Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

This housing thing is all part of the long term neoliberal plan to transfer public goods into private hands.

Its very sad, and directly at odds with the supposed world leading science and innovation Brexit fantasy that Cummings had and BoJo still pays lip service to.

As time goes by, more and more of what was deemed Project Fear all becomes reality.

I expect we will have a repeat of all that in Scotland whenever Sturgeon decides to proceed with her long threatened referendum :-(

Hard to have any sympathy for Brexiteers or those in the Red Wall that fell for it tbh.

Unfortunately the rest of us that didn’t are fecked too.

Hopefully we'll all try to use facts and figures and not just emotive language in our discussions of the pros and cons of Scottish Independence, for or against (or United Kingdom, leave or remain, if you'd rather use the Brexit parallel).

I'm one of those with what has been called blinkered cognitive dissonance who thinks UK leaving EU was mad, but Scotland leaving UK is not. Go figure! :-) G

If Brexit was being seen as a success, it would be harder for Scotland to cut ties with rUK, but the longer the effects of Brexit are seen to be self harming, it might be easier for and indy Scotland to offer an alternative: closer ties with EU, better trading opportunities, no queues!
