Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

From the Good Law Project. Might be less than it appears... but I hope not.

What sort of journalism allows for the phrase " The 21-year-old, who had been visiting Low Force waterfall with friends and had drunk up to seven bottles of lager, ?

Had he drunk 0? Why not up to 100?

As annoying as shops offering up to 70% discount when they only need to have one item with that discount out of thousands.

[perhaps he was pissed and they found seven empties but couldn’t prove he’d drunk them all - or something along those lines]

Baz - I see no contradiction in these statements and have not selectively lifted quotes. Scottish pensioners have a right to continue to get their pension and the UK has a responsibility to work out a solution to make sure this happens.

This is likely to require transitional arrangements.

No?

If the rUK play hard on pensions it looks more akin to a hostage situation than a ‘union of equals’.

I agree with that. But blackford guaranteed the uk will pay them. He cannot give that guarantee.

"Scottish pensioners have a right to continue to get their pension and the UK has a responsibility to work out a solution to make sure this happens."

Why?

If Scotland leaves, surely the responsibility is on Scotland to find a solution.

To state otherwise is like Brexiters saying that the EU has a responsibility to find solutions to the problems the UK leaving has created.

Blackbird’s comments have since been clarified. That was the quote I used.
