Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Hi all, I'm signed up for Paris too! Looking forward to it loads. Was signed up in 2013 but missed it due to injury unfortunately - still a great experience to watch and take it all in. Loved the city. Will be my third marathon and hoping for a sub 3 attempt if training goes well!

Hi Everyone *waves*

Glad to see that there will be a group of Fetchies at the Paris marathon.

@NelskiBL - The Yorkshire Marathon was great, perfect weather as well! But I struggled slightly with the course being 'Yorkshire flat' :)

@Gromit - Congrats on completing London this year. Keep us posted on how your training goes!

Yes, I know what you mean. I ran the Brass Monkey half in January and that was flat. I'd never run so far so flat before. I thought the PYM would be the same. Not quite!!!

Oui, c'est bon! 4 nights for us. I'm on a 16 week training plan and week one went well - even though I'm still doing Marcothon so had to forget my rest days!

I am signed up for Paris 2015. Never done this one - anyone got any advice on good areas to stay with (a) reasonable prices and (b) good/quick access to the Start/Finish area? I was thinking 7th or 8th arrondissement??

The start is the Champs-Élysées and the finish is Avenue Foch. I'm staying in the 8th Arrondissement but he 16th or 17th could be ok too, 7th is across the river. A great website to book accommodation is airbnb, we found it much cheaper than a hotel.
