Thank you B. I'm getting impatient to pay it off so that keeps me focused.

Kilner jar noodles for lunch tomorrow I reckon. I've got £8 to last me the rest of the month, so I'll invest in a pack of tofu on the way home.

I'd never heard of khicheri. Looks nice. I'm doing my usual January task of using up anything that I have left in the cupboards and that is something that I might be able to make.

I had a nice big bowl of different veggies, pickles and beans today and will have similar tomorrow.

You're vegan aren't you Becca?

I use coconut oil instead of ghee to fry the cumin seeds in at the start and use Anjum Anand's recipe:

bbc.co.uk

I also usually use brown rice and moong dal (whole mung beans)

Ooh that looks nice.

Leftover chickpea and couscous salad with red cabbage slaw in sour cream dressing today.

Cant decide whether to go with last of the couscous or defrost some soup for tomorrow.
