Seems I can't ever get warm this year. Is it the weather or my age, lol ?

Sigh
I did chuckle at this. Someone's asked for the route for this coming weekend's league race. Instead of a link to a gps-route or similar, this is what they got:

This was on a seeming innocuous surfing/paddleboarding website.
Why is this a thing please? I’m sure we’ve covered this before, and see McDear Leader’s blog during the week, but still and all…

Many Americans seem to hold the bizarre belief that their intestine are full of several pounds of plaque/ undigested food, particularly due to their meatist diets, and this results in Poor Gut Health and all its concomitant ills.
This is of course complete rubbish - insert own joke about Americans being full of sh*t here - but it doesn't seem to occur to many either that their sluggish bowels may be aided by a better diet that actually contained some fibre, or that their undoubted extra weight is elsewhere than adhering to their bowels.

The alternative health industry is fond of the myth that our bowels are gummed up with decades of some sort of accretions caused by our bad diets.
