I loved his latest one. He didn’t have the top speed so he went for a win the only way he could. Going long. Never seen a Keirin won like that.

Don’t think it’s that Kenny didn’t have the speed, just that from position 2 your options are limited. Bet the rest of them are mightily pissed off with the dopey Aussie.

Yeah I just think from his other events that his single lap speed wasn’t that of previous games.
Yeah the Aussie was very slow to see the danger but kenny still had a full 4 lap effort to do.
Hard to pick a favourite gb gold but it’s up there.

That Keirin is my new favourite moment of these Olympics.
Although that BMX freestyle reaction when she got the score and Keely hodgkinson in the 800 run it close.
The dominant performances in the women's Madison and pidcock on the MTB would be my stand out GB performances
Hassan gets overall outstanding performance.
But there are quite a lot of highlights

So many highlights. The keirin was amazing as was the women's madison, but I also loved the moments from the first week especially the team triathlon and the team swim relay.

To say I thought that many events would be covid-hit and perhaps not have a good level of competition, or that some events would be lacklustre, I am really pleased to have been proved wrong. As usual, all pre-games doubts are banished and the sport shines through. Roll on the paralympics, then only 3 years until Paris. (and commonwealth games next year too)
