How do you know the bird is called Kevin? Does he have a little sign?

Spoke briefly at parkrun with the woman who was sixth in the hammer at the last Commonwealth Games (she hadn't run, but her coach, who was up from Gloucester, had).
(It came about as I spotted a tourist (it was the Gloucester AC vest that gave it away) and said hello.)

And on Googling her coach from the parkrun results ... said coach is Lorraine Shaw, British women's hammer record holder. Commonwealth medals: bronze Melbourne 2006, Silver Kuala Lumpur 1998, GOLD Manchester 2002

Truly, that is not entirely mundane. I once sat opposite Dennis Healey on a train. I was surprised he wasn't in first class as he was pretty well known as a politician. No minders either.
As for parkrun part of the reason I like touring these is becaise of how friendly people are and will come up and chat like Dvorak did.
