I'm not sure about those walking badges, Columba, not for me anyway. I've just got a badge (the SWCP badge) for walking 630 miles. I don't think I've recorded that much walking on Fetch. Puzzling.

The walking league is fairly new, isn’t it; maybe it still needs tweaking. I’ve been logging walking as cross-training for quite a while, so 500 miles seems not unreasonable.

LD, you can find out how much you have logged by going to your training log, changing the dates to show to cover all your training and then looking at the totals.

Thanks CW, I followed your advice and I have indeed logged enough miles! I think I used to log walking when I was injured and couldn't run, because I couldn't bear to have zeros everywhere  I'd forgotten!

Arrived at the recycling centre this morning to find a huge long queue. Joined it. It didn't seem to be moving at all. A man came along the line of waiting cars, speaking to each driver in turn. When he reached me, turned out he was offering to take our recycling (provided there wasn't too much of it) and add it to his own, releasing us from the queue. I didn't have a lot, and he took it. Man deserves a medal!
