On my bike ride a deer jumped across the trail in front of me, hit the fence and bounced off, went back across the path and then cleared the fence in a second attempt. On the dog walk I came upon a man who had stopped his car rolling off his driveway by putting his foot under the front tyre. He was stuck. I had to put the hand brake on. Luckily he was able to get his foot out.

Water temp was 16.8c so had my first skins swim of the year. Felt wonderful. 2. The swans have a large number of new signets. They felt a bit threatened at times and hissed and flapped at swimmers. There was an extra safety boat to keep them and us safe. It must be a bit disconcerting for them.
