Cheers D, had thought about doing the same but do hate carrying stuff in my hands as neck/shoulder seems to stiffen. Prob is I drink huge amounts when its really warm but don't wanna look daft carrying what most would only use for a marathon. Drank about 1L last Wed on my 10miler, & it was around 18-20C. Was using a hilly double funnel belt with 2 x 600ml bottles - drank all of one & 2/3 of the other. Been & got a camelback bottle belt with 1x710ml bottle - gonna try that tomorrow hopefully & see how I get on.

I have a habit of arriving everywhere early so encountered no problems last year however it did get a bit conjested for the later arrivals. It's only 1000 so not a massive race which means parking is OK. Just aim to be there at least an hour before kick off and you will be fine.

No worries CC7. Yes will be there but not fit for running 10 miles unfortuantely. Will try to beat last years shocking effort but sub 1.30 is going to be tough.

John, I thought we were aiming for under 1.25. I'll bring my collar and lead and drag you along for the last few miles.
