Can't remember when or where but I heard an interview with her some time ago. She was a much 'nicer' person than the deeply conservative and autocratic Peggy! Interesting woman if I rightly recall.

It's incredible that she was still taking part in the programme aged 103 I think. Mind you I think Joe Grundy's last few scenes had to be recorded by an engineer going to the care home he lived in towards the end of his life as I recall. I think that actor died before the character did and so did 'Phil Archer'.
