Kids going to school in too-small shoes, I'm afraid. LittleD has some sort-of school shoes that required glueing to make the acceptable to her fussy feet (the rest of her is also fussy).

For years I had flying dreams, definitely the happiest moments of my life, but it's ages since I've had one. It wasn't really flying, it was more like running, but I only had to put a foot on the ground every couple of miles.

I got the ironing board out of the cupboard yesterday but didn't get as far as getting the actual iron out. Perhaps I'll do it this evening. I've scrubbed the kitchen sink and hob, cooked some sprouts and prepared a red pepper and some carrots to go into the oven. The washing now needs hanging up.
