I work for a large legal corporation. We have a subsidised canteen which is pretty good. Small soup is 80p/large £1.40. Small salad is £1.00, going up to £2.40 for the largest size. Breakfast is also good (porridge is 80p, omelettes start at £1 for plain and each filling is 35p). The cooked lunchtime meals, however, are quite expensive and so I give those a miss (plus I don't like eating a big meal at lunchtime).

Still on holiday here - more leftovers! Heading out for a walk soon. Sharing my laptop with Mr AL (his is being repaired) is reminding me why I really wanted my own....

Dog walked. It's quite nice out there. Lunch whilst writing a shopping list. Heading into Inverness to rendezvous with someone who is buying my winter tyres. Food shop too.
