As in Polly put the kettle on, I did just that and we all had tea. I also had a chocolate digestive because I am an athlete* who will be racing** this evening.
*Almost ** Running for a while, then getting hot and tired, and then jogging ploddingly until the last 100m when I will suddenly try to sprint so people think I've been trying my best.

I put out washing earlier, the clouds have been looming all afternoon but so far so good. I'm knackered today, not got much done. I need to change the battery in my car key though so I bought a replacement battery, now go work out how to open it.

Still can't have hot food or drink yet. Weetabix and a glass of water are not adequate substitutes for a cheese and bean toastie and coffee.

I went shopping and stopped at a friend's for my cuppa on the way home. It started raining at about 3 o'clock while I was in Sainsburys. That was when it was forecast to start. The light has gone strange so I think it's going to rain again shortly.
