I made a change from my usual routine and filled up with petrol at Sainsbury's. This was a mistake because, far from it being a quick transaction where I could also pick up a newspaper, the 'system' threw a fit when the man in front of me tried to pay with the County Council account card, and the child manning the pterol station had no idea how to resolve the problem. I and others had to walk down to the main store, get cash out of the machine, walk back (all through a hail storm) and pay for our fuel that way. Luckily my petrol-based OCD meant that I had filled up with precisely £40 worth and not some random amount as others had.
And it must be the only petrol station in the country that doesn't sell newspapers!

Drinking orange juice. Standing up, because it's good for you, you know.

Birmingham.

Train now separates into two, one half going on to Shrewsbury while the other half doesn't. I am in the correct half. I am a bit OCD about this and have checked several times but a recent announcement has reassured me.

This is weird (and a newt jingle): I'll be in my suit in London. Normally I'm covered in wicking gear.

Getting probate forms signed for my Mum's estate. You can do it locally but have to pay a solicitor... or direct in the offices of HM's Probate office for free. Only with very limited opening times.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
