yes 200, making a proper effort to up mileage in readiness for a HM in April, last 4 weeks are 35,35,30,32 will try to get nearer 40 this week....

the last people I heard calling it supper were a bunch of Royal Agricultural Uni students back in Cirencester, they were thick posh people who could not get into a proper college. They all had flat caps on, had small dogs with them, and were wearing green tweed with wellies.

I was sunbathing (i.e. just swimming trunks) north of the Arctic Circle in August a few years back, but I reckon we were lucky with the weather.

So now you're learning Italian, Owlie?

You could research Sweden, Fleecy, and see what the temperature's likely to be in August. We had a lovely family holiday in Sweden many years ago, but can't remember whether it was late July or August. We were swimming in lakes, so it must have been warm.

I did research it, didn't look good for the end of August though I think earlier is fine.

I'm happy to go somewhere else in Europe anyway, as long as it's driveable within 2 days.

my partner doesn't like all the swedish/danish crime stuff, I think it's great, so that the bridge is one of the series I have to re-watch and cath cup on....not so keen on Montalbano particularly.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
