All but one of my running socks are in use, or in the wash, today.
About to set out for a trip via E Croydon, but not Elephant. Will strive to avoid Elephant on the way home as well.

McG - for some reason my phone won't let me comment on your blog but having viewed several houses recently where old ladies have moved out, I'd say it would be worth re-carpeting the house, even in really cheap carpet - the cost would be less than you might lose on the selling price of the house; and filling in the holes where your sister removed the shelves etc (why????) and giving it all a lick of magnolia (yes, boring old magnolia) is also likely to help.
The house that upset me most was the one where the old lady's stuff was still everywhere, but there is a happy medium between derelict and the Marie Celeste.
Sorry for hijacking the thread.
