Top tip: if you are changing the battery on a modern car where everything is electric, make sure you remove the new battery from the boot before disconnecting and removing the old one. (In my car I can’t even fold down the rear seats without power. The luggage cover doesn’t retract with the boot closed, so I had to swing the parcel shelf bracket out of the way and lift the battery over the rear seats and headrests - you can’t remove the headrests unless you can tip the seats forward a bit.)
