Nice! It's cooling down here. Need to decide what kit to set out in the bathroom ready for tomorrow's run. Arms were very cold after my walk into town this morning! 🥶

I must buy some smoked salmon, haven't had any for ages.
I've never been that keen on travelling by train. Now I'm halfway through the second episode of Nightsleeper I never want to go on a train again. 🫣

I won't be running tomorrow morning. I appear to have booked the ferry for 11.30am instead of 1.30pm. But we're going to Dad's rather than home so there'll be time when we arrive.

OMFG just came to the restaurant in the hotel normally I sit in the lounge but I fancy something different to the bar food offerings.
She sits me at a table for 2 and table along side is 2 Americans.
I sit down looking at menu ordered some water and a conversation strikes up:
F: No way would I want to sit there
M: me either or at least I’d face the crown (I’m facing towards the door I hate people walking behind me (there is other tables behind but I also don’t want to appear to be looking at them)
F: absolutely no way I wouldn’t be happy and I’d refuse to sit there
Well petal dust I’m not a fecking snowflake! But it’s not comfortable sitting in a restaurant on your own so thanks for making me uncomfortable

How insensitive! Mr Ness said it was the thing he hated most about working away from home. Eating in a restaurant alone. Some people really need to mind their own business!
