Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

But the good news is: I should be getting £77/week ESA 🤞 it is being processed so should get it paid retrospectively next month, i.e. for February and March and a few weeks in April, then I need to send another sick note...

My biggest issue is that my property has 2 sets of deeds i.e. legally is 2 properties.
Technically, they are one!

I cannot possibly sell one without the other becoming inaccessible and unusable. I am not even allowed, as per planning, to sell separately.
Yet, it is being suggested I sell one of my properties so I can pay my bills now I am unable to work.
Quite how they envisage this??? I'd either become homeless or loose my ability to earn a living in the near future and I need money NOW! No income for 2 months and as I just explained I have no partner to prop me up by paying the bills!!!
How dare they even suggest that as a solution!

As in: ask your partner to pay your bills?????
Sell your property? That doesn't happen over night and then what? Where would I live? I need my home now more than ever 😭

Hann, is there a hospital social worker or welfare rights adviser or similar at your Cancer centre? If so they can be very helpful and will have done all this loads of times. May be worth asking if there is one and if you can be referred?

Glad Ozzie's home and am outraged on Hann's behalf. Chucking feek of them.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
