Outside of a pizza and waiting for a slice of poppy seed cake to defrost.

Strictly on the telly, I missed all of last weekend's programmes. I don't really care any more though.

Fleecy, was it because the grass was still wet?

I strimmed my grass today because it was so long. I didn’t get to cut it before we had all the wet weather. I also had to pick up a gazillion 💩 before I started.

Might be because my shed leaks and the mower is 25 years old, Dio. But I'm no engineer!

Electric mower Dr F?
Bang/spark and only goes slow speed now? Capacitor gone, most likely.
Unless you have a local repair man, time to choose a new one. They're probably on sale now.

Fireworks done. Slight cock up because after 8 mins they did an E II R display and a respectful pause after it. Commentator though that was the end. But it was only half time!
Fantastic show - unless you have a pet or horse that doen't like lots of loud explosions. But fantastic the way the sky lights up and the super rockets now have 2 or 3 tiers of bursts.

Rice boiling now.

Glad today was better for you dipps. (())

Fleecy, I thought maybe blunt blade and clogged up underneath. My mower, although not a hover, always clogged until I got the blade sharpened a couple of years ago. I did have a hover many years ago and that always clogged in the autumn. I had to turn it over every so often and poke it with a stick. I made sure I unplugged it first so it was a real pain.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
