Dread to think what I'd be spending on petrol if I was doing my commute from my last teaching job. 56 miles per day! Mr Ness also double checked our gas/electricity contract. It's a fixed price one til next spring so we don't have to look at that til beginning of next year.

I will always drive 1 day as Friday I drive to work then straight shopping which means a couple less miles

I put £70 of diesel in on Friday evening and had to top-up again last night as the warning light came on, but we did go to Devon and back at the weekend.

Next door has a staffie (our cats hadn't arrived yet but girl can be hunty). Anyway the bloke next door went out at 5 am and encouraged mummy and ducklings to waddle nearer to the pond and out of harms way. It was very sweet. We've been watching out this year as girl would definitely go for chicks but none near us thank goodness.
