dio I filled my car last week at £70 at the end of last year it was about £50-55
I used Esso this time as their price was the same as Tesco but cashing in 300 Nectar points took 5p off the price saving £3

Mr Ness and I were looking at fuel prices the other day. Dread to think what I'd be spending on petrol if I was doing my commute from my last teaching job. 56 miles per day!

Mr Ness also double checked our gas/electricity contract. It's a fixed price one til next spring so we don't have to look at that til beginning of next year.

oh that's lucky ness
On a bad week I do 55-60m a week and a tank is about a month traveling every day + shopping
If I can commute under my steam this obviously increases how long a tank last! I will always drive 1 day as Friday I drive to work then straight shopping which means a couple less miles

Breakfast. Up late as awake for a time after 4 trying not to cough too much.

Cloudy out, I went and brought the bin in and it's cold! Turned the heating on.

EP, I was talking about domestic fuel - gas and electric. This month's dd has remained the same, but I'm expecting a change.

I put £70 of diesel in on Friday evening and had to top-up again last night as the warning light came on, but we did go to Devon and back at the weekend.

Aw! Hope they're all OK, leaguefreak.

We had very little chicks on the shared driveway last year. Next door has a staffie (our cats hadn't arrived yet but girl can be hunty). Anyway the bloke next door went out at 5 am and encouraged mummy and ducklings to waddle nearer to the pond and out of harms way. It was very sweet.

We've been watching out this year as girl would definitely go for chicks but none near us thank goodness.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
