Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My stir fry is usually really good but I was obviously a bit too heavy handed with the ginger and the chilli. At least it’s helped clear my nose :)

About to make some boerekoool for my supper.
Currently on the sofa, under the cat.

I have researched and found a bathroom light with shaver socket and an electric towel rail I like that aren't excruciating.
I have also found tiles. Just need to work out how many I need tomortow, then I decide on Hereford, which has a B&Q, for the tiles, or Abergavenny. Both towns have a screw fix for the rail and light.

Screwfix is owned by B&Q Hann, so you might even get it all in the B&Q.

The sun came out here at 3 o'clock. The window cleaner texted to cancel at 3.30 "due to the weather" - what a surprise. Started my walk before darkness descended.

Looking at information about PCR testing for holidays and who to use as Mr Ness and I will probably need them. If the holiday goes ahead.

Fields my nearest shops are 10 miles away! I really need to research on line what is available where, as I don't want to head 10 miles into Wales, only to find that I should have headed 24 miles into England in stead!

Pedro, interestingly, B&Q has no good towel rail and light. Screwfix tailors to the trade, B&Q less so...

Both B&Q and Screwfix let you click and collect with about an hour's notice. So you can check store availability on line, and order & pay, so you just turn up and collect.
(I find screwfix normally better priced and easier to deal with than B&Q - but always pre-order)
(also 10 miles from anything other than the village shop)

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
