I just found out something that means I will likely never apply for a promotion as it won't ever be worth the hassle. This is a positive thing. At some point I need to figure out the financials on earliest possible retirement age. It's not for a good while but I need to have a range of options a fair few years out.

Tomorrow morning I shop for plants with my client then plant them out, after which 4 outstanding jobs will have been finished. I may move out of the red once I have been paid for them all!

Need to complete mortgage and fund kids uni too. I'd really like to cut back my hours further in my mid fifties though. I just need to make the right decision to max out my pension and some of the t and Cs have changed.
