Just spoken to this week's professional buddy. The chat was good. The journal article we had to read was rubbish. I managed to provide ICT support as well which is always appreciated by my colleagues.

I'd quite like a nap now but I need to work for at least another hour.

Got it

Coincidentally I had smoked mackerel for lunch with salad, mayonnaise, hummus and toasted pitta bread. All that was missing was a few olives and some feta cheese

The fish shop is permanently busy or at the moment shut after Easter so I’m missing my smoked trout, mackerel and salmon fixes. I eat mine in a big salad. I forgot to have lunch earlier so just ate some bread. It’ll have to be pasta for dinner I think as the potatoes are finished. I don’t know where all the food goes, might need to see how busy Waitrose is when I go pick up ds1 from work.

I made tortillas for lunch. All 16 got eaten. That's the problem with homemade food - they eat twice as much, so I *still* have none left.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
