Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mr Burns the work fire safety officer told us that if the fire brigade aren’t busy they are often happy to help out with things like filling ponds or sawing down railings if they can count it as ‘training’. So maybe they won’t mind hosing off your car.

They've turned off the heating at work so I am wearing my jacket.

Fire brigade are still here and there’s still smoke nearly 2 hours later
My local pubs are sadly not doing delivery, I did ask my landlord before lockdown but he wasn’t keen! The Hogs Back brewery did deliver fresh beer to me but delivery is pretty expensive for a few pints. Not yet found a decent bottled beer so I suspect they don’t exist.

Took ds1 to work, he’s had 2.5 weeks off so there’ll be plenty to do I think

I don’t drink anymore but found the vast majority of bottled beers taste simply of ‘bottled beer’

Something a bit different was what I used to like, often something dark

Theakstons Old Peculier is okay but not as sweet as the draught

Saltaire Triple Chocolate is good

Just hung out washing after virtual PT session - he messaged me in a panic as he thought yesterday was Tuesday and he had forgotten to call me. He had also called his Wednesday client and probably woke her up! 😂

I actually prefer nonalcoholic bottled beer as that tastes less generic. You’re right though DT, darker bottled beers have more taste.

I need to clean the kitchen and wash the downstairs floors. Not feeling enthusiastic about either really. Plus I’ll need to re-wash the laundry out on the line once the smoke has gone. I might just do the body blast I missed in the fire excitement instead :)

Been for a walk and need to put out laundry. Run out of steam for today already.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
