Dr F - Just ask the fire brigade to hose the car down 'a bit'. Ask for the 'spray' setting, not full on jet hose.

Did the H in the March treasure hunt help? I bet you could them at all fire hydrants within 1/2 mile?

I would kill for a lovely pint of proper HSB right now, or pretty much any time of day...Wish I knew when pubs were reopening so I could have a countdown
Fire engine is still here, not sure why. It’s almost as exciting as when my neighbour had a stroke and drove into my car and an ambulance, fire engine and three police cars turned up

[Dr F - from my experience when my car started smoking, they'll most likely stay until there's no risk of re-ignition - and that probably means no hot or warm spot on their Thermal Imaging Camera.

I have found Doombar one of the better bottled beers, and a few pubs here are doing take-away orders for draught ... ]
