The so-called initiation of P & D apprentices was perhaps what brought it to mind, v'rap: that, or the absence of zig-zag paint in my GoogleImages search. ;)

Left-handed screwdriver was another - wasn't there a thread for these, ages ago?

And we had someone sent to our class by another teacher to ask for some elbow grease.

My mother says new student nurses used to be sent to get a set of fallopian tubes from the cupboard, but I reckon she made that up because most new student nurses would have had a school qualification in biology.

I'd just finished sweeping the outdoor steps then the window cleaner turned up. :)

Lunch now then off to see what they have left in Sainsbury's.
