Mrs D has taken our scabby cat to the vet. She seems have sensitive skin/allergies, therefore overgrooms and bites and scratches herself to bits.

Shaved. While I was shaving, I thought I could hear the neighbour using a hedge trimmer. He doesn’t have any hedges. Now discovered it wasn’t a hedge trimmer, it was a remote controlled WW2 tank. (Model, obv.)

Noticed that the local hospice shop is having a sale (50% off everything except new items, one week only) whilst passing. May go back up the town later to investigate.
