Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Errands done.
I have just renewed my passport online - now I need to post them the old one, wonder if I can make the print-your-own postage online thingy work?

Dog, who is lying on the sofa next to me, just stretched very luxuriously and turned onto her back so I can tickle her tummy. It's not a bad life, being a dog.

Thrown-together lunch.

Baked potato; tofu; carrots; coleslaw. Topped off with lots of chilli sauce.

My poor car was being buffered by high winds on the way home. The fence is rather shaky

Day has improved a bit. If I leave here in the next 15 minutes I'll be back at base by 4 and get an early finish. Hopefully there is no more poo or puke to clean up. Although I'd be amazed if QP hasn't done something illogical during clean up operations.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
