Home from a good catch up with the neighbours I used to stay beside. I miss the street but not the Ex husband who still lives there.

Yay for Rhayader fetchfest!
It can be a tough race. There's a very long uphill stretch not far from the beginning; and when you finally get to the top, you're right out in the open, exposed to cold winds and whatever weather may be in progress. One year there was a blizzard; in Rhayader it fell as rain, but driving snow for the runners on the hills. The views are potentially wonderful, but if it rains or snows or is foggy they aren't visible.

I did the 20-mile incarnation of Rhayader in 2009. It was certainly undulating, but I didn't find it a particularly slow course. I enjoyed it a lot. (And did the Ashby 20 the following day.)

My phone has been found :-) and not even by a teenager who made me hand over a tenner on a brighton pier or in the sea by my niece :-) :-) I have a long history with stuff when I’m tired. Gone from gloom to euphoria. And MrS has gone from sympathy to rolling his eyes

I once made all the salesmen in a car showroom look in all the cars for my 'lost' phone. It was in my car, in the centre console bit. It was just a bit dark. I did buy a car off them though (and I'm sure no one minded that it was the cheapest one in the entire place...)

Great news.

In bed. Not looking forward to weather and roadworks in the name of parkrun tomorrow.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
