I have no idea if the calculations they've made are correct but given the pittance involved it's not worth scratching my head over. (I was nearly always part-time, but over the years it varied between 0.4, 0.5. and 0.6 FTE, with occasional terms (shudder) of full-time.)

It wasn't very much but got a nice lump sum and a small monthly pension but being only 55 I might as well take it. I still have my NHS pension and the pension I got in my divorce settlement so I'm sure the one I have now won't be missed.
