Linds, not mundane, but did you see that Suede have two London dates in October? I’ve booked for the Saturday, already excited.

I am sleepy. Also, I’m wondering if I might need some new flip flops.

You always need new flip flops, Maz. At least I do.
Trying to write an article. I hate what I've written. Blah.

I’ve had the same flip-flops since January 1998.

I hate flip flops, not owned any since I was about 5. They make a really annoying noise for starters. Keen sandals, that’s what you need. Walked into town to buy ds1 new clothes ready for his big trip tomorrow. Ran into a friend whose son used to go to infants’ school with ds1, they didn’t recognise each other but they are going to the same college in September.

I like flip flops but it is rarely warm enough to wear them here. Today however, it is bloody scorchin'. Our office is like an oven and I am wearing bloody skinny jeans which are waaaaay to hot. Looking forward to our 'wet' kayak session later. Well not the being underwater trapped in a kayak bit but the cold water bit is strangely appealing right now.

I’m not sure I want keen sandals...they sound a bit too much like hard work
I don’t really like flip flops because I don’t really like having bare feet. But it’s bloody boiling, and I’m going away at the weekend.

I have a few pairs of flip flops but I haven't really worn them yet this year.
It was bloody lovely down the beach today with great big waves in the sea.
Now having a cup of tea before this bloke turns up.
