Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thameslink didn't train drivers for the new routes so they rely on swapping drivers at key stations. Clearly a delayed train in one direction delays the train in the opposite direction that the driver is supposed to take over; clearly any delayed train delays all the ones behind it, and so the timetable collapses. There are more variants on that which exacerbate the situation.

They only pay their timetable planners £20k (it's been reported) so it's not surprising.

Another bright sunny day, nice breeze. Yesterday's forecast rain never turned up, good job as we did a rather exposed hike up on the peaks. Nice run, a bit sweaty, walk later, Barbecue too, that will be three times this year! Amazeballs.

hmmmm, tea.

Went for a short slow run - it's too hot just now so will go back out this evening. I am sitting inside the cafe as I don't want strap marks before the wedding I'm going to as it's an off the shoulder dress;-)
Waiting to collect Alfie to take him to see his mum and dad who have been away for 3 days...He will be excited to see them but not so much me :-)

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
