Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

At a table drinking tea and eating an Abernethy biscuit. I hae overdone it this morning but it's just so good to feel well again. I have taken dog out for his morning visit tothe beach, done dishes and tidied the kitchen, stripped and re-made my bed, hung washing, showered and cleaned the bathroom. I also went to get some pellets for the boiler and helped the man load 10kg bags into the car 2 at a time. I am about to take the dog to the other beach for his lunchtime walk and then I will spend some time on the sofa this afternoon binge watching SoA.

I noticed this morning how much my bathroom needs cleaning, too.
And the carpet needs hoovering. I'm sure if I put my mind to it I could identify another 10 jobs to do this weekend.

Instead I will try to shoehorn appointments into my boss's calendar, where no availability exists.

I have swept the hall and sitting room floors. As we have two dogs staying instead of just one there was double the amount of dog hair to sweep up.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
