Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've opened my package. It's a pair of Snowtrax spikes for wearing on my boots when walking around in the snow. I've read the instructions and realised that the pair I've been wearing for a few years have been worn the wrong way round. Apparently, the spikes go on the heels, not under the sole. :-o

Sunny here too. Yesterday was so horrible, there seemed to be a serious possibility I might drown either retrieving the horse from his field, driving home or walking the dog. But I didn’t.

Sitting in the warm sunshine in my seaside backyard. The birds are singing fit to burst..Life is good.

Dill the sprayiest bit of the M5, we find, is in the Weston-Brean area. Which by annoying coincidence, is often the stretch where the rain is heaviest.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
