Ah I've just googled and I do need one. I was going to get a chimney balloon but I like the idea of telling people there is a sheep up my chimney much better.

It’s OK, Bint, they are a special breed with a handle attached so you can shove’em up there 
It’s a bit of felted wool of variable size with a handle, that you stick up into the chimney. Cos it’s wool, if you get the right one it will squash up and mould to the shape of it, and stop drafts, and if you want a fire you just pull it out with the handle. I reckon it can’t be worse than my current ‘pillow in a black bag’ solution, which works so well that I am currently sat here shivering wearing 3 layers and a dog, with the heating on, while freezing cold air swirls round my toes.

It’s probably important that you don’t confuse it with a SLEEP sheep, which is, so my friends with kids tell me, a vital piece of baby equipment.

Long run done, went with a two long sleeve top strategy. Should have worn two pairs of strides two, my knobbly knees are a bit chilly.
Now shower and Jumanji at the pics with the girl. Sleep opportunity

Fierce and Focused Fleecy
My mind was boggling at the thought of trying to shove a recalcitrant sheep up a chimney
I am so fiercely focused I’m nearly ferocious, AR. And with that I’m getting back to work. Abstract finished and edited, I’ll leave it a day to mature and then finalise it.

Coffee after football. Bit worried about No. 1 cat who has had a couple of episodes recently where he has appeared shaky and unsteady on his paws, and has started to look quite aged although we think he’s only 7
