Spent a huge amount of money on tiles. Apparently the rulers are booked in for next week, but I need to find out when in case I have to book an earlier ferry than I thought...

I have a headache, not sure if it’s the weather.
I used to shout very loudly every single day when I had to accompany the kids to school, Purps. I’m so glad they get themselves there now! Though I need to shout at ds1 sometimes to drag himself out of bed and towards school. He’s really not a lark.

It was only the getting dressed thing that was the issue this morning. I sprung the walking on them as we went out of the house, they were asking for the bus but it was 18 minutes to the next one and we'd be 2/3 of the way to school by then.
I just wondered if my post was too boring with the bus thing, but remembered where I was posting

buses are the lifeblood of this thread!
It's always quicker to walk than get the bus round here due to the crap traffic, up to 2 or 3 miles it's faster walking/running/scooting.
Smoked trout salad for lunch with random salad veg and lots of pink peppercorns and mustard. I went to the fish shop earlier, they didn't have much in today.

This nearly belongs on the exciting thead because it's warm and almost all the windows are closed. If all the windows were closed I would have to put it on the exciting thread.

Haha!
I went downstairs to berate the person who keeps trying to add to my workload. She asked how I was and listened to my woes re: QP, and I left without berating her.
Leftover lasagne for lunch. It is really good but I just hit a very garlicky bit. I have 2 meetings this afternoon and no mints or chewing gum.

last GWR train I caught the windows seemed to have been screwed shut with a sign saying in the unlikely event of the air con not working to ask the guard to open the window...
I need to go to B and Q. Might take some paracetamol first, it's bad enough going to B and Q normally.
I now have to go to the IoW on Sunday or Tuesday. Not sure which yet.
