Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Decided to water the flowers that i planted yesterday as the expected rainfall had yet to arrive.
Whilst putting the watering can away...starts to rain. :)

I hadn't realised you were using a walk-in polytunnel, Wobbling. It must make it a lot easier to attend to the plants.

I have shed envy. I want a she-ed, but need to dig out a level patch of the garden first. As I'm less than half way through the first 'level-patch-projct it may take some time.

Sorry Helegant. :-) Level patches.... hmm. I had to take out a willow tree root (mostly rotten) and a holly tree to do this! Oh, and move the old shed (half the size). 'Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world'. Oh, and rollers. Lots of rollers.

Give me a lawn edger and a border spade and even I can move mountains. At the moment level-patch-project 1 being conducted 1-2 hours at a time.

Two Lithuanian lads came and dug out my neighbours garden in a couple of days, but they are a third of my age, so I'm pacing myself.
If I can find the lads again I may pay them to perform level-patch-project 2 for me.

Needing a level patch was why we opted for a polytunnel rather than a greenhouse.
