Good morning, and thank you all for your nice words yesterday. Lyrics: Theme DECEMBER. I felt a rush like a rolling ball of thunder Spinning my head around and taking my body under What: I might get out of bed. I might even haul myself down the road to the café and the supermarket. Why: I'm definitely not well (wouldn't have tried to start a marathon the way I feel now) but we're out of fizzy drinks and I can probably manage some cake for breakfast. DOMS: No, not yet. |

Morning! Lyrics: yes...as was thinking of using them. Am wondering if the theme should be winter rather than December, which would perhaps make it more obvious that the weather and festivals are most welcome. Yesterday: Simon and Garfunkel, I am a rock. m.youtube.com What: hopefully a short run Why: getting extremely unfit |

I'd struggle to think of another song that specifically mentions December.

I know one or two but doubt anyone would get them, which I always think is a little sad

Morning again! By December I was giving people poetic licence, so to speak, so anything that could crop up, like winter, or festivals. More than happy to change the theme title, eg winter. In an odd way, I am glad you are ill, @Velociraptor ! At least that gives you answers! And get well very soon! |

Thanks @alehouse Being ill is definitely preferable to "too old for this marathon lark" as an explanation.

There was a big clue you weren’t right when you didn’t want your tea after running 19 miles ![]() |
