Thus you cannot get the pie out of the tray without breaking it up. They are thus useless for anything EXCEPT what I did last time I made some - put the broken pies/filling into a large bowl in a sort of Mince Pie/Eton Mess hybrid then eat the lot with a large scoop of ice cream. Enjoyed them more then the intact ones.....
