Blimey those hills after mile 20 were not welcome for a first time marathoner! Thanks to all the fetchies from me, it certainly gave me a big lift! Got lots of shouts wearing my Fetch vest

OB they have clearly never been to the Fens where I live so don't know what flat is! It's famous for its roundabouts but now I shall never forget its underpasses, did anyone count them?!

If I never see another underpass, it will be a day too soon! They all started to look the same after a while :S If you want a really flat one, do Manchester.

Some pics in the gallery now. Sorry I didn't photograph everybody, but I was either too slow or they were a bit blurry.

Not my finest day's work, as the Morton's Neuroma was giving me gip in the second half. Great support from the Fetchpointers and fellow Fetchies on the course. Had lovely chats with Becca7 and Fenland/100RNIB, and also Cityrunner whom I met for the first time. Also met the legendary Foxy at the end. And of course Lord & Lady Fetch in person doing Fetchpoint duties.
I summary: a good day for the sticker book, a bad day for the WAVA table.

That photo of me is hilarious (sunglasses and tongue hanging out; I think my eyes were crossed behind the sunnies, but thankfully you can't see that).
Thanks to all the people doing Fetchpoints - the support really helped. (Dammit, though, I didn't spot the jaffa cakes - maybe FR scoffed them all when he whirred through about 10 minutes in front of me).
