Not meaningless but disingenuous - I note that Shredded Wheat claims it counts as one of your five-a-day if you have it with a portion of fruit. That's beautiful. I will steal that if I may That is a cracker!! Mars - will help weight loss (if you don't eat it) |

That Dyson thing - noise-cancelling is not a great option when you're out and about. There are enough zombies out there with headphones on. I saw somewhere that they expect people to use these on a cycle commute. Is it only me that thinks it's really unsafe? As a cyclist who's had to try to overtake headphoned ditherers who are wandering all over the road; this can only make it worse surely?

Worse than that, it is designed to deal with car-generated pollution, and not with any pathogens emitted by humans. It has been described as the snot cannon, the dream ticket if you wish to pass on covid to a whole street at once.

From every physical book description on Amazon I've just looked at: "Did you know?: This product has a unique IMEI number that identifies the device. If you tell us you have not received your device, Amazon may share the IMEI number with law enforcement. To help combat fraud, the device may be deactivated. No action is required on your part." I hope it's meaningless. |

As opposed to games which are not interactive? Surely they would just be pictures, or possibly sculptures.

Why doesn’t it just say ‘video games’? I’m intrigued. It all seems faintly sinister.

It’s some sort of brainwashing tool isn’t it? Turning our kids into mindless zombies. Oh hang on. Too late! |

NellersI think you're right! It's still school holidays round here, the weather has been great all week ... but where are the kids? Makes me sad, as I know there are a lot who live round here but I'm guessing they're all on phones/ipads etc instead of being outside annoying the neighbours!
