Rather worryingly, this is from the official Shimano website:

RIDE IN STYLE
New CLARIS R2000 series correspond to entry riders. Riding style is not race oriented, but easy sports, long touring, town cruising with casual cloths, shopping and also commuting for daily use. The bike with CLARIS is a partner of the rider. Having the bike make riders feel happy. It's sporty looks but it promises that the opportunity of comfortable riding.

I like that. Shimano obviously could have it translated perfectly, but they have issued that instead :-)

Or is it all a marketing plan to induce the feels :-o

Creating a real and enjoyable shopping experience is our biggest goal, we have been working hard for it! So you need to know this:

It is not perfect
-It can only be washed with cold water, not machine washable and dry
-It is easy to clean, rinses with cold water several times, and naturally dries
-It may have some flavor, but it will dissipate after cleaning
-It can only accompany you to exercise but not to attend a dinner party
-It is soft, comfortable and flexible, allowing you to do [more]

This isn’t as much meaningless as a product that should not exist:

And they can't spell "mascarpone".

Slightly worried about MacLennan's flavoured garment, and how you would come to detect the flavour.

It's not clear, Swits. There might be one per shoe, possibly. There are lots of triggers. There's also a 'stability trigger in the lateral outsole' that 'avoids roll overs'.

This is perfect fro 'baseline grinders', I understand.
